Smart Construction Group delivered a complete pharmaceutical coating line for Sanofi under consultant Dr Mohammed Beltagy — MEP services, process systems, machine installation and commissioning executed as a single integrated package. The scope covered HVAC works, firefighting, plumbing, chilled water networks, process systems, machine installation, and testing and commissioning.
A coating line is where building services, process utilities and production equipment converge, and the interfaces between them are where projects usually fail. By holding mechanical, electrical, process and installation scopes within one team, SCG coordinated utility connections, equipment positioning and service routing against the machinery's own requirements before installation began. Our responsibility continued through testing and commissioning, so the line was handed over performing as intended rather than merely built — the integrated delivery model that defines how SCG approaches pharmaceutical projects in Egypt.
