Smart Construction Group delivered the Future Extension Project for Pfizer, an extension and upgrade programme inside a live pharmaceutical plant, executed under consultant EGEC. The scope spanned repair works, renovation, concrete works, industrial flooring, hygienic finishes, MEP systems and metal works.
Working inside an operating pharmaceutical facility is among the most demanding environments in construction. Production areas remain in use, cleanliness standards apply throughout the works, and every intervention has to be planned so it cannot compromise the product or the validated environment around it. SCG developed a phased execution strategy that protected production continuity while delivering hygienic finishes and industrial flooring to pharmaceutical standards.
