Smart Construction Group delivered concrete repair, structural strengthening and renovation across the production line and administration building at El Marakby Steel (MKS), under consultant Mass M. The scope covered concrete repair, structural strengthening, grouting, machine foundations, scrap area renovation, finishes and administration building fit-out.

Heavy industry is punishing on structures. Continuous vibration, impact loading, thermal cycling and abrasive material handling degrade concrete far faster than in ordinary industrial use, and a steel plant's scrap area is among the harshest environments on any site. SCG assessed the deterioration to identify its root cause before specifying repairs, then delivered strengthening, grouting and machine foundation works alongside the renovation — restoring structural capacity and extending asset life while the plant continued to operate.
